The days when you were supposed to have a dark room to print photographs are now long gone. Digital technology has not only taken up photo cameras, but also photo printing. A digital printer makes the whole photo printing process much easier while also significantly improving the quality.

The market for digital cameras is evolving very fast. Even if you tried to keep up with the highest resolution, unless you are willing to invest in a new camera every six-twelve months you would find that impossible. However, some people buy a digital camera mainly because they want to enlarge their photos and the resolution is therefore very important.

Even experienced photographers find wildlife photography a rewarding, but sometimes frustrating experience. A good photo of a wild animal in its natural habitat is a great memory, but the challenges it brings can make a beginner feel a bit overwhelmed. 'It was a great experience, but the photos don't really capture it.' is a common phrase we hear from people who come back from exotic holidays.

After a few years of owning a digital camera, the average amateur photographer has a huge number of pictures somewhere on an external hard disk or on CDs. Some of his favorites have been printed out and placed into an album and he may have used a few with a Calendar Kit to give out as a gift. Others have been used to make a fun slideshow to watch at a family reunion.

Ever happened to you to get an e-mail from someone containing a link to a bunch of pictures published on a website. In case you're lucky and you don't need to create an account in order to see them, you often just see some thumbnails and when you click them it takes forever to download the photos.

Like many other electronic devices, digital cameras work with batteries and the life of these batteries limits the number of pictures you can take before changing or recharging them. There are situations where you are in a long shooting session and you can't change or recharge the batteries (e.g. when you go on a trip).
